2: Field Work & Data Gathering

Including geographically locating and assessing subject trees.

impact on the subject trees.

4: Final Report

tree protection and mitigation requirements.

Experts agree that tree protection during construction is more important (and less expensive) than tree restoration programs after a tree has been injured. Construction activities such as driveway and walkway installations or widening and excavation for pools, new homes or additions can severely affect existing trees. Some impact areas are root cutting, branch abrasions and trunk fractures; these injuries can lead to rot and decay, structural damage, canopy loss, or tree death.
